Company focuses on improving products environmental requirements, working conditions and own production.
Principles

OLTEKS company pays attention to environmental production. To determine current situation, we evaluate impact of production and economic activity on environment. Company performs documented procedures for waste handling, storage, recycling and disposal. These actions prevent emissions to air, wastes to ground, discharges to water and fire risks. Knowledge and procedures execution, including emergency actions, ensure workers and surrounding environment health and safety.

Production wastes are sorted for further use or recycling. Shreds and substandard and unused materials leftovers are transferred to specialized organizations for camouflage nets for army making. Fabric leftovers are processed for mattresses, furniture, clothing, toys manufacturing. Workers who work with production wastes are properly qualified and accordingly trained. We study carefully raw materials environmental characteristics for clothes, hats and hosiery sewing.

There is mandatory raw materials compliance with ISO requirements and current legislation sanitary and epidemiological expertise. Each stage of production: cutting, sewing, assembly, ironing, packing is supervised by experienced technologists. Finished products are tested by independent certification bodies if requested by clients, after which relevant reports, conclusions and certificates are received.

Working in our company and factories is built with safety standards. Standardized procedures and actions completely neutralize or reduce to acceptable norms working environment dangerous and harmful factors influence for staff. Measures use, which eliminates dangerous situations and enhances technical safety, creates favorable hygiene and ergonomic work conditions. State control includes noise, temperature, light, air quality assessment.

Company assesses risk in workplaces through factories for all workplaces. Risk assessment is updated when production processes change. Evaluation results provide basis for improving procedures on health and minimize injuries and illnesses risk. Company provides employees with insurance against accidents, including medical care and financial compensation in the event of accidental injury.

During high temperature periods, internal temperature in workplace does not exceed 25°C. The needed ergonomics requirements are approved in factories and in office. Guidelines enable employees to use effectively work space and time. Since clothes, hats and hosiery sewing is monotonous, repetitive work, company implements ways for work optimization and diversity.

Due to existing equipment constant modernization and new computer equipment purchase only for the past year we reduced energy consumption by more than 20%. Production factories and warehouses heat was converted to heat with solid fuel boilers. At our factories new plastic windows, energy-efficient light bulbs and modern category "A" air conditioning systems are installed. Company supports government policy of energy efficiency and energy saving.

Perspective direction for company in energy efficiency field is: re-newable energy use to satisfy separate process cycles needs; solid fuel boilers, CO2 sensors installation to determine and control the proper level of fresh air; factories roofs materials with high reflection coefficient to reduce local overheat effect.

Initiated actions aim to improve energy plants is: burden on environment reduction; company competitiveness growth provision; saving and manufactured products prices reduction.

Long-term strategic company investment is to support communities in production facilities locations. While we are aware of social business responsibility for workers’ life quality, aim to improve workers social, home and entertainment conditions and make access to special education more open, we developed health, professional education development and young professionals’ first experience programs. These programs are on permanent basis.

We plan to maintain dialogue with local authorities further to develop social partnership programs, to support local and regional communities social and economic development.
